At World Missionary Evangelism, Inc., we are committed to working to use your gifts
wisely and effectively in Christ’s name. We earnestly request your prayers as we seek
to use these gifts to advance the Kingdom of Christ.
According to Proverbs 4:7, “Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.” At World Missionary
Evangelism, Inc., we recognize that wisdom is the gift of God, the accumulation of experience
and the product of counsel. World Missionary Evangelism, Inc. has over fifty years of experience
in funding and developing Christian missions. Solomon observed, “Where there is no guidance,
a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14) We rely on
many years of accumulated experience, we seek the Lord, we counsel together, we pray for
God’s guidance and favor, and we agree together that a project is in accordance with God’s
will before we use the precious funds and resources with which WME has been entrusted.
Effectiveness can be measured by considering the value received for the value given – a
comparison of the result against the investment. At WME, we believe that two things enter
into the “effectiveness” equation -- the seed and the soil. In the parable of the sower, Jesus
described how some seed fell on the path, some on rocky ground and some among thorns, and
such seeds were lost. But Jesus stated that still other seed “fell into good soil and produced
grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.”
(Mark 4:3-8) The effectiveness of the seed is a function of the soil, and this is a fact that WME
attempts to assess alongside the level of the need and the potential of the final result. WME
uses discretion when scattering seed.
We strive to maintain good stewardship practices over the funds and gifts entrusted to
us by our friends and donors.
“Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.
Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” I Corinthians 4:1-2
