While conducting evangelistic meetings in
India, one Hindu man challenged the late
Dr. John E. Douglas, Sr. to care for seven
orphan children clothed in rags and starving.
Dr. Douglas responded and founded World
Missionary Evangelism, Inc. in 1959. WME is a
registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
located in Dallas, Texas.

What began as a simple act of kindness has
grown to impact lives of children, individuals,
families and communities around the world
suffering from physical and spiritual needs.
God has called us to show his love and to
