Know Your Blood Type?

Just something to Consider!

I had a friend who was a Christian leader and well recognized. One day he astonished me by remarking about a Jewish believer in Christ who was also a friend of mine that:

He will never be a Christian the way you and I are Christians, his blood is against him.

To say I was astonished is putting it mildly. But the fact was that he said it as sincerely and matter-of-factly as possible. What are there, different classes of believers; some first class and some second class? When I was a kid we sang a little chorus in church that pretty well summed up all our classifications. The chorus was, “I’m an ASSBG, A Sinner Saved By Grace, and the Lord has gone to prepare for me a place, John three sixteen is my knowledge, and the Bible is my college, I’m an ASSBG, A Sinner Saved By Grace.”

Paul said that God has made all men of one blood on the face of the earth for to dwell. Modern science has shown there just isn’t a whole lot of difference between all of us human beings. However, there is one blood type that is different. The blood that makes us one is the blood of Jesus Christ. If that’s your blood type, you’re OK. If that’s not your blood type then get a transfusion into your spirit and life at the foot of His cross and be a brother or sister in the family of the Son of the Father’s love.
