For many countries where World Missionary Evangelism has ministered, our outreach began in response to a disaster.

These disasters have ranged from bloody conflicts to famines, earthquakes, floods and other major crises. And after the devastating event occurs, God sovereignly opens up a door for WME to step in and act as His hands and feet to people affected by the crisis.

Disaster relief is a combined effort between WME and its supporters to provide an effective and immediate response to a crisis.

When a disaster raises the need for immediate help and support, WME supporters have risen to the challenge and moved in faith with WME to meet the need. World Missionary Evangelism has been able to use our presence, people, relationships, facilities and resources to quickly intervene. And it is that advantage which helps us to maximize the contributions of our supporters to disaster relief.

Whether it is an earthquake, typhoon, tsunami, mudslide, famine, flood, fire or war, WME is able to help individuals and families through our Disaster Relief Program.

We have all seen images or video footage capturing the profound loss, despair and suffering of those dealing with natural (and sometimes man-made) disasters. Their world has been upended, and they feel hopeless and alone.

People affected by disasters are in desperate need of support, compassion and a helping hand. We have the power to send a Christian message of love and hope, to minister to their physical and spiritual needs. Shattered lives can be restored and hearts healed through Christ.
