Clean water is critical to life!
What is the most valuable commodity on earth? Common responses from people in developed nations would be gold, diamonds or perhaps oil. But for millions across the globe, the treasure they desperately desire is something we take for granted — WATER.
Above any other resource on earth, clean water is critical to life and survival. Without safe water, people die.
When water is unsafe, an entire community suffers.
In many places WME works, communities do not have clean water to drink. They don’t have safe water to grow and harvest food, raise livestock or protect children from disease. And in rural communities, women and children often transport water from great distances, leaving them little time for education or improvement.
In many cases, life-giving, safe water is almost within reach. Sadly, the communities just don’t have the funding, tools or assistance to get to it.
You can stop hunger, heal disease and save thousands of lives with the gift of water.
Clean water is a life-saving solution for many. It has the power to stop the cycle of poverty, make a community more stable and improve health among its residents. Your gifts allow WME to provide hope to poor communities with the gift of water.
Water projects also open the door to minister to the spiritual needs of a community.
Providing clean, safe water is about more than meeting physical needs. Water projects give WME a foothold into grateful communities, enabling Native Missionaries to share about the Christian faith that drives us to help people in need.
